Bio

Will was born to Oran Wilford and Mary Ethel Howerton Roberts. Their only child. He never married. Will was a 1LT in the U.S. Army Air Corps., 27th Fighter Squadron, 5th Fighter Group, and was shot down over the South China Sea during World War II. His body was never recovered. He is listed on the "Tablets of the Missing", Manila American Cemetery, Manila, Philippines. Also, there is a memorial dedicated to him next to his parents at Austin Memorial Park, Austin, Travis County, Texas...Section 2, Row 16.
