Bio

Funeral services have been set for 2 p.m. this afternoon at the First Baptist Church for Mrs. Frank Whitlock with Rev. W.R. Lawrence, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Citizens Cemetery with the Murphy Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Whitlock, 72, long-time Clarendon resident, died Wednesday morning in an Amarillo hospital following a quite lengthy illness. Mrs. Eula Louise Whitlock was born October 10, 1891 [sic] in Panola County Texas and moved to Clarendon in December 1907. She was married to Frank Whitlock Dec. 3, 1905. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. George Garrison, Clarendon; three sons, Clarence and L.T. Whitlock of Amarillo and Price Whitlock of Escondido, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Buel Sanford of Clarendon; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
