Requiem Mass Held Thurs. For A. E. Podsednik Requiem mass for August E. Podsednik of Route 2, Abbott was held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbott at 10 a.m. Thursday. Rev. W. Pechal officiated. Burial was in St. Martin's Cemetery at Tours. Rosary was recited at Kotch Chapel in West at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Mr. Podsednik died at his home Monday. He was 64. Mr. Podsednik was born near Tours Aug. 28, 1906 and had lived in the Abbott area 37 years. He was a farmer and member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church of Abbott, Knights of Columbus Council No. 2305 of West, and the Abbott KJT Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sophie Podsednik; his mother, Mrs. Frances Podsednik of Hoen; a brother Joe J. Podsednik of Hoen; two sisters, Mrs. August (Annie) Steinocher of Hoen and Mrs. Kenneth B. (Magdalen) Averitt of Fort Worth, and two nieces. Pallbearers were Bill Klaus, Tommy Podsednik, Albin Pustejovsky, Jr., August Snokhous, Edward Podsednik and Fred Podsednik.
