Mrs. August (Mike) (Annie) Steinocher, age 78, of West passed away Tuesday morning, March 24, 1992 in West Community Hospital. Rosary was recited by Msgr. George Doskocil at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel, West. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Martin's Catholic Church, Tours, with Rev. Isidore Rozycki as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, West. Mrs. Steinocher was born May 7, 1913 in Hoen and had lived there all of her life before moving to West four years ago. She was a member of the K.J.Z.T. Society #45 of Tours and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in West. She was a bookkeeper for the Hoen Gin Co. and the Birome Gin Co., and also was a bookkeeper for the Birome Water Supply Co. for 15 years. She married August (Mike) Steinocher on July 28, 1945; he died November 30, 1987. Survivors include a sister, Magdalen Averitt of West; and a niece, Mrs. Bill (Mary) Klaus of Hoen. Pallbearers are Robert Podsednik, Edward Podsednik, Adolph Muska, Tommy Muska, Michael Klaus and Bill Klaus. Kotch Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
