F.J. Podsednik Killed In Hoen Gin Accident Frank J. Podsednik, 61, was killed instantly in an accident at his gin at Hoen shortly after 9 o'clock Wednesday night. The gin machinery was in operation, Mr. Podsednik in some manner being caught by the main engine shaft which revolves at a high rate of speed. Death was instant, deceased suffering two skull fractures, a broken collar bone, a broken right arm and other injuries. The body was brought to this city, Justice of Peace Louis Garrison holding an inquest. Funeral services will be held from the residence at Hoen at 8:45 a.m. and at the Catholic Church, West, at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 25, Rev. E.J. Polcak officiating. Interment will be at the Catholic cemetery. Mr. Podsednik was born in Czechoslovakia, coming to this country with his parents when he was one year of age. He has lived in this section since that time and for the past 23 years had operated a gin business at Hoen where he had resided for 35 years. Surviving are his widow; two sons, Joe and August, both of Hoen; two daughters, Misses Anna and Magdelene, Hoen; four brothers, Anton, Joe, Louis and John; two sisters, Mrs. Frances Koppa, Waco, and Mrs. Frank Grellhesl, Tours.
