Dorothy was a good wife, Mother and home maker. She worked with husband Charles Otto Johnson at the Ace of Clubs in Rosamond Ca. and the Texaco/Union 76 gas station, Rosamond Ca. In 1952 Dorothy and Charles was given an acre of land in Hidden Valley, Rosamond Ca. Provided they get a home on the land in a years time. So Charles arranged with Harvel House Movers in Rosamond CA., to go to Manzanar Japanese Internment Camp north of Lone Pine CA. Was given a half of a mess hall to tear down the whole mess hall and haul it to Rosamond CA. The half of a mess hall that Johnson was given was put on the land in Hidden Valley, Rosamond CA.
