Bio

Hubert is buried beside his brother, Buford Dawson. Many of his Russell relatives are buried in the older section of the cemetery, including his grandfather, John R. Russell. Hubert worked as a farm laborer most of his life. He liked to tell stories of the Dawsons who moved from Mississippi to Texas, and "even had a town named after them."
