Married November 2, 1918 to Frank Gunsaulus. Pearl Gunsaulus Dies Tuesday; Services Friday-- Mrs. Frank L. (Pearl M.) Gunsaulus, 76, of 118 W. 11th St. N., a lifelong resident of Jasper County, died Tuesday at the Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Johnson-Reese Chapel. The Rev. Gerald Erffmeyer, pastor of the Christian Reformed Church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Newton Memorial Park cemetery. Friends may call at the Johnson-Reese Chapel from noon Thursday until time of services. Survivors are her husband; two sons, James D. of Newton and Ron C.M. of Long Beach, California; two daughters, Mrs. Keith (Delores) Butler of Newton, and Mrs. Max (Darlene) Veber of Tempe, Ariz.,; 15 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Blanche Broderson of Newton, and Mrs. Harold (Mabel) Sellers and Mrs. Ivy Dingeman, both of Monroe; and two brothers, Dale H. Wood of Newton and Bert Wood of Monroe. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Clarence. Mrs. Gunsaulus, member of the first United Methodist Church of Reasnor, was employed at the Automatic Washing Machine Co. during World War II. The daughter of Eli and Ida Wood, she was born June 16, 1898 in Reasnor and attended Jasper County Schools. paper unknown found in box of clipping.
