Joe B. Thomasson, Sr., 73, of 612 Gulf Bank Rd., died Saturday at his home. Native of Flatonia. Houston resident 33 years. Retired painter. Member Memorial Baptist Church, Painters Union Local 130, Masonic Lodge, Veteran World War I. Survivors: Daughters, Miss Pauline Thomasson, Mrs. Rex Fordyce, Mrs. John R. Frey, Miss Patricia Thomasson, all of Houston: sons, Joe B. Thomasson, Jr., San Diego, Cal., Walter A. Thomasson, Huntsville, Daniel H., Donald E., Raymond E., and Timothy D. Thomasson, all of Houston.; sister, Mrs. Gussie Royder, Houston; brothers, Sam Thomasson, Houston, Charles Thomasson, Dallas; niece, Mrs. O. M. Gilliland, Houston; 11 grandchildren.
