Hogg TEC5 USA WWII ~ Minnie Alleen Eaton Hogg Funeral Services for Minnie Alleen Eaton Hogg, 91, were held Friday, November 21, 2008, at St. James Catholic Church in Searcy, Ark., with interment following at Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery in North Little Rock. Minnie Alleen Richards was born on October 9, 1917, in Cayote, the ninth of ten children of William Henry Richards and Emma Eugenia McWilliams Richards. She passed away on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008. Her paternal great-grandparents, William B. and Catherine Burch Richards, settled on the Bosque River in the 1850's. Her paternal grandparents, Isaac Art and Sarah Elizabeth Snider Richards, liven in Cayote, Texas. She married Vincent Ray Eaton in 1937 and moved to Kansas City, Kan., where they had four children. After the death of her husband, she and her young children returned to Texas where she became a nurse and worked at Meridian Hospital in Meridian, and Goodall-Witcher Hospital in Clifton. She later married Robert Byron Hogg in 1962. They moved to Arkansas in 1969. She loved to be with her family and friends and embraced life with enthusiasm. One of her truest blessings was being "Grandma" to her ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Robert Hogg, three sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Betsy Eaton of Birmingham, Ala., Richard and Pat Eaton of Searcy, Ark., Bill and Joyce Eaton of Waco; daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Cecil Kraft of Sherwood, Ark.; ad brother and sister-in-law, James and Florence Richards of Bella Vista, Ark.
