Albin Svacek Dies; Rites Held Thursday Albin Svacek, 73, died at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday in his home near West. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 20, at First United Church (Presbyterian), Rev. Linn Welch officiated. Burial was in West Brethren Cemetery. Mr. Svacek was born in West and had lived there all is life. He was a retired farmer and was a member of the Presbyterian Church. He was a member of Cottonwood SPJST Lodge No. 6. He married Miss Millie Jirasek in 1914 in Taylor. Survivors are his wife; three sons, Alfred Svacek of Fort Worth, Ben Svacek of California and Harry Svacek of West; two daughters, Mrs. Rudolph (Elfie) Merenda of Dallas and Mrs. Albin (Norma) Pustejovsky of Mt. Calm; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Aderhold Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
