The body was taken in charge by the West Undertaking company and carried to West, where the funeral will take place this afternoon at 3 o'clock. It was not believed at first that Mr. Svacek, who was employed by Henry and Younce, grocers, Third and Franklin Streets, was seriously hurt, but he had been slowly growing worse, and the injuries, together with the terrible shock his nervous system received, terminated in his death. Surviving Mr. Svacek are two children, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Svacek, West; three brothers and three sisters, J.F. Svacek, Hillsboro; Alvin and Victor Svacek, West; Mrs. Rosa Kramer, Mrs. Annie Pinter and Miss Millie Svacek, all of West. The Waco Times-Herald, Waco, Texas, Sunday, March 23, 1924, page 4.
