Elmira was the daughter of Joel & 1st wife Catherine Stephenson Maudlin. On 20 Sep 1868, she married William Worth Voyles. They were the parents of 5 children-Harriett Alice (Marshall), Charles Franklin, Everett Ezra, Evelyn, and Dorothy (Zink).
