ANNA RITTER,74,PLEASANTON Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Ritter, 74, will be Friday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. from the United Brethren church in Kearney with Rev. Harold Harris officiating. Mrs. Ritter died Tuesday night at the local hospital. Mrs. Ritter was born in Perkin, Ill., and came to Pleasanton in 1894, where she had made her home until three years ago when she came to the Lutheran home in Kearney. Her husband preceded her is death. Survivors include two sons, Charles, Pleasanton, and Rudolph, Hastings, and one daughter, Mrs. Olive Gruhn, Grand Island. The body is at the Morgan funeral home in Pleasanton. Burial will be in Pleasanton cemetery. Kearney Daily Hub, July 28, 1948, page 1 OBITUARY Anna Ritter, daughter of William and Marian Hoffman, was born in Pekin, Ill., March 21, 1874. She passed away July 27, 1948, at the Good Samaritan hospital at the age of 74 years, four months and six days. She moved to Buffalo County at the age of 16. She was married to Rudolph Ritter of Pleasanton, Nebr., August 14, 1895. She was a patient at the Bethesda Memorial home in Kearney for three years. Her husband, four daughters and one son preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn two sons, Charles of Pleasanton and rudolph of Hastings, one daughter, Olive Gruhn, of Grand Island; three sisters, Ada Roach of Kearney, Alma Thomas and Edith Hoffman of Omaha; two brothers, Julius of Ogallala and Otto of Kearney; seven grandchildren, one, Rogers (Ritter), now serving in the U.
