Bio
Funeral services were held in Ogallala Saturday for Julius Hoffman, who passed away at his home in Sutherland, Thursday morning, February 6th. He was born July 28, 1881 in Pekin Township,Tazewell County, Illinois, and moved north of Gibbon at the age of 7, with his family where he grew to manhood. He was united in marriage to Julia Peters who passed away in Ogallala in 1943. He leaves to mourn his passing, three daughters, Edna Hoffman of Denver, Frieda Jordan of Maywood California, and Clara Wagner of Omaha; two sisters Edith Hoffman of Omaha and Ada Roach of Kearney; one brother, Otto Hoffman of Kearney; two grandsons of Maywood, California.
