Mrs. Louis (Elizabeth) Neckar Kostecka, age 83 of Bellmead, died July 17, 1986 in a Waco nursing home. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. July 8 in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 3 p.m. July 19 in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bellmead with the Rev. George Henniger as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Mrs. Kostecka was born July 2, 1903 near West. She had lived in the West area most of her life before moving to Bellmead in 1975. She married Louis Kostecka on January 21, 1936 at West. He preceded her in death in 1975. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bellmead. Mrs. Kostecka is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Joe (Margaret) Aimer of Bellmead; two sisters, Estelle Wachsmann of Chilton, Hattie Hanzlicek of Penelope; one grandchild, Denise Shapland of Waco; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were George John Hanzlicek, Richard Welch, Morris Welch, Raymond Kaluza, George Hanzlicek and Richard Shapland.
