Mrs. Kaluza, 77, Dies; Rites Held Thursday Mrs. Rudolph (Mary) Kaluza, 77, of West Rest Haven, formerly of 615 South Harrison, died Tuesday afternoon in West Community Hospital. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. in the Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Requiem mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, with Rev. George Doskocil as celebrant. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Kaluza was a member of St. Mary's and KJZT Society No. 11 of West. She was born in McLennan County and had lived in the West area all of her life. Her husband died in 1969. Survivors are three sons, Alfred Kaluza of West, John Kaluza of Route 2, West, and Rudolph Kaluza of Waco; one daughter, Mrs. Charlie (Margaret) Makovy of West; three brothers, Joe Neckar of Elm Mott, Tom Neckar of Victoria, and Ben J. Neckar of Waco; three sisters, Mrs. Louis (Elizabeth) Kostecka of West, Mrs. Hattie Hanzlicek of Penelope, and Mrs. Joe (Estelle) Wachsmann of Chilton; 28 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Ernie Makovy, Leo Makovy, Johnny Kaluza, Jr., Willie Kaluza, Jimmy Kaluza, and Freddie Kaluza.
