Miss Rose Bezdek is Third to Die in Crash - Third Death As A Result Of Car-Interurban Crash Miss Rose Agnes Bezdek, 23, died in a Waco hospital at 2:30 a.m. Friday of injuries suffered in an automobile-interurban collision here Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 8th, which also caused the death of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John W. Bezdek. Another daughter injured in the accident, Mill Lillian Bezdek, 13, was reported resting fairly well in Providence hospital. It is believed she will recover. This tragedy which took the lives of three residents of this community took place at a grade crossing two blocks south of the interurban station, the Bezdek family returning from church services when their car was struck broadside and shoved almost half a block down the tracks. Mrs. Bezdek was killed instantly, and her husband died the following morning. A double funeral service was held at the Catholic church for Mr. and Mrs. Bezdek on Friday, the burial being delayed until Saturday morning awaiting the arrival of a son who was stationed with the Army at a distant point. Funeral services for Miss Rose Bezdek were held from the residence at 9:30 a.m. and at the Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Monday, December 14, Rev. E. J. Polcak officiating.
