Bio
Mary F. Bezdek, age 79, of Dallas, formerly of West, passed away late Wednesday evening, January 4, 1989 at St. Paul's Hospital in Dallas. Miss Bezdek was born March 5, 1909 in West, the daughter of John W. and Mary Bezdek. She worked for many years for Lorch Manufacturing Co. in Dallas before retiring in 1975. She was a member of the K.J.Z.T. #11 in West and a very active member for many years with the Holy Trinity Catholic Church of Dallas. She is survived by two brothers, John Bezdek of Fort Worth and Harry Bezdek of Abbott; five sisters, Sister Alice Marie Bezdek of San Antonio, Mrs. Harry (Bessie) Lichnovsky and Mrs. Edward (Josephine) Kubala, both of West, Mrs. B.J. (Helen) Gresham of Hewitt and Mrs. Danny (Lil) Urbanovsky, also of West; and several nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Friday, January 6, 1989 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel led by Rev. Isidore Rozycki. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 7, 1989 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption with Msgr. Ray Widacki as Celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery. Pallbearers were her nephews, Larry Lichnovsky, Don Urbanovsky, Gary Urbanovsky, George Kubala, Edward Kubala, Mark Bezdek, Kevin Bezdek and Sam Gresham.
