Rudolph Walla Dies In Waco Sanitarium Rudolph Walla, 29, popular young man of this community, died in a Waco sanitarium at 7:00 p.m. Sunday after an illness of less than three weeks. Death was attributed to typhoid fever. Deceased was very popular among the younger set in this city. He was in the ginning business, being connected with the Walla Gin Company of this city. He was born in Tours, the son of the late Frank Walla, on November 6, 1904. Funeral services were held at the Church of the Assumption at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 24th, with Rev. E.J. Polcak officiating. Interment was at the Catholic Cemetery. Pall bearers were Tom Hlavenka, Leo CVhada, Bill Pareya, Emil Jansky, Albert Vrana and Ben Sulak. Survivors are his mother, Mrs. Johanna Walla; four sisters, Mrs. Paul Sulak of Laredo, Mrs. Charles Jurica of Flatonia, Mrs. Mary Bucek of San Antonio and Miss Annie Walla of Smithville; eight brothers, E. F., Joe and Adolph of West, Albin of Houston, Frank and Willie of Ellinger, Robert of Flatonia and John of Chicago.
