Bio

Mrs. Wesley (Willie Mae) Sulak, 62, of West died Monday at a Waco Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Monsignor George Doskocil as celebrant. Burial was at St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Sulak was born Aug. 15, 1921, in West, and lived in the area most of her life. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was married to Wesley Sulak in 1940. Survivors include her husband; a son, Dr. Wesley Sulak of Hillsboro; a daughter, Mrs. Patrick (Janet) Farek of Axtell; two brothers, Ernest Gerik of Hubbard and Ben Gerik of Fort Worth; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers were Donald Gerik, Richard Gerik, Frankie Kapavik, Henry Kapavik, Jr., Gerald Barak and Robert Plsek, Sr. The West News, West, Texas, Volume 94, No. 31, Edition 1, Thursday, August 2, 1984, page 9.
