Mrs. Julia Kohut Dies in Hospital Mrs. Anton (Julia) Kohut, 74, of West died Sunday afternoon in a West hospital. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. Requiem mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, Rev. Earl Hedberg officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Mrs. Kohut was a native of Czechoslovakia and came to this country when she was two. She had lived in the West area for the last 72 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Church of the Assumption in West, and of the KJZT Society No. 11 and the Altar Rosary Society. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Ernest Gerik of Hubbard and Ben W. Gerik of Fort Worth; a daughter, Mrs. Wesley (Willie Mae) Sulak of Fort Worth; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Rod Gerik, James Sulak, Pat Farek, Richard Gerik, Donald Gerik, Ernest Kapavik, Charlie Matus and Louis Matus.
