Bio

Mrs. Mary Helen (Grellhesl) Sulak, age 81, of Crestview Manor, formerly of West, died January 25, 1986 at West Community Hospital. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. January 26 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel by Chaplain Francis Lavin. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. January 27 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Francis Lavin officiating. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Sulak was born in Tours, daughter of Adolph and Mary Grellhesl. She married Frank J. Sulak in Tours on October 15, 1928. He preceded her in death on March 24, 1985. She was a housewife and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. She is survive by four sons, Gene Sulak of West, Alvin Sulak of Rockdale, Alfred Sulak of Waco and Harry Sulak of Houston; two brothers, Joe Grellhesl and Bud Grellhesl, both of West; three sisters, Maggie Hennig of Rowlette, Josie Kucera of West and Ellen Schroeder of Abbott; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Those serving as pallbearers were Craig Sulak, Timmy Sulak, Randy Sulak, Van Veenstra, Jimmy Gifford and Bennie Herbelin.
