Adolf Grellhesl Of Leroy, Dies Adolf Grellhesl, 88, of Leroy died Monday afternoon in a West nursing home. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Requiem Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Tours, Rev. Victor Goertz officiated. Burial was in St. Martin’s Cemetery in Tours. Mr. Grellhesl was born in Germany. He lived in Leroy the past 75 years. He was a retired farmer and a member of St. Martin’s Catholic Church of Tours. His wife, Mary, died July 24, 1968. Survivors include three sons, Adolf Grellhesl, Jr., of West, Joe Grellhesl and Anton Grellhesl both of Route 2, West; four daughters, Mrs. Frank (Margaret) Hennig of Rockwall, Mrs. Frank (Mary Helen) Sulak of West, Mrs. Emil (Josie) Kucera and Mrs. Johnny (Ellen) Schroeder, both of Abbott; a brother, Conrad Grellhesl of West; a sister, Mrs. Annie Fickey of West; 16 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren, 23 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Jerry Kucera, Alfred Sulak, Alvin Sulak, Frank Hennig, Thomas Hennig and Jimmy Grellhesl.
