Frank J. Sulak, age 76, of West passed away Sunday night March 24, 1985 at Hillcrest Hospital in Waco. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 26 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Francis Lavin officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Monday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel by Chaplain Francis Lavin. Mr. Sulak was born February 25, 1909 in West where he had lived all his life. He married Mary Grellhesl October 15, 1928 in Tours. Before his retirement he worked at the Textile Mill and West Flour Mill. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. He is survived by his wife, Mary of West; four sons, Gene Sulak of Rt. 1, West, Alfred Sulak of Waco, Alvin Sulak of Rockdale and Harry Sulak of Waco; three sisters, Mrs. Albina Webb, Mrs. Sophie Lichnovsky and Mrs. Lena Grellhesl all of West; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Craig Sulak, Tim Sulak, Randy Sulak, Jason Sulak, Jimmy Gifford and Benny Herbelin. The West News, West, Texas, Volume 95, No. 13, Edition 1, Thursday, March 28, 1985, page 10.
