She lived in the West area all of her life. She married Rudolph Soukup on November 12, 1935 in West. He preceded her in death on July 1, 1989. She was a homemaker and had worked as a seamstress for the Lorch Company in West for several years until her retirement. She was a talented seamstress and made all the clothes for her daughters from smocked baby bonnets to prom dresses. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, word puzzles and bingo. She prided herself on her kolache and strudel making skills and there was always plenty in the freezer. But if you asked her grandchildren, they would say she made the best chicken dumpling soup and pecan rolls! She was a member of the K.J.Z.T. St. Ludmila Society No. 11, R.V.O.S. and lifetime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. She is preceded in death by one brother, Joe Nors and two sisters, Josephine Nors and Rosie Kolar. She is survived by two daughters, Mildred Dokupil and husband Bill of West and Ruddie Anderson and husband Russell of Holly Lake Ranch, Texas; four brothers, Emil Nors and Ernest Nors, both of West, Henry Nors, Jr. of Ross and William Nors of Northcrest; four sisters, Henrietta Chudej, Marcella Kaska, and Evelyn Pratka, all of West, and Lillian Kissinger of Northcrest; five grandchildren, David Dokupil and wife Leigh Ann, Kariann Perry and husband Ben, Kristi Dokupil, Daniel Anderson and wife Myra, and Darin Anderson and wife Christina; eight great-grandchildren, Kaydi Lynn Perry, Taylor Jill Perry, Brady David Dokupil, Bria Shyann Dokupil, Nathan Russell Anderson, Sarah Josephine Anderson, Mackenzie Taylor Anderson and Daniel Cooper Anderson; and several nieces and nephews.
