Mrs. Soukup Of West, Dies Mrs. Frank H. (Bennie) Soukup, 70, of West died Tuesday night at her home. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Thursday in Kotch Funeral Chapel in West. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Mary's Catholic Church in West with Rev. William Benish as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Soukup was born in Fayette County and had lived in the West area most of her life. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption and the Catholic Daughters of America, Court 829. She was a member of SPJST Lodge No. 54 of West. Her husband, Frank H. Soukup, died July 27, 1973. Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Rose Verdegan of Fond du Lac, Wis., brother, Innocent Piscacek of Maryland; three sisters, Sister Adele of Austin, and Mrs. Walter (Olga) Hegar and Mrs. Emil (Marie) Hegar, both of West; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers included Jimmy Soukup, Jim Holacka, Jake Tucker, Harry Lichnovsky, Arthur Deiterman, and Louis Rejcek.
