Anton Roznovsky, 80, of West, an Army veteran of World War II, died Friday morning, June 26, 1987 at a Waco hospital. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 4 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in West, Msgr. Ray Widacki as celebrant. Burial followed in S. Mary's Cemetery, West. Mr. Roznovsky was born Mary 20, 1907, in Hallettsville. He lived in Penelope most of his life, but also was a resident of Fort Worth for 15 years while employed by LTV, a company that builds airplanes. He lived in Oregon for a number of years before retiring and moving to West 10 years ago. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He was a member of American Legion Post 478, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4819, and KJT Society No. 50 in Penelope. Survivors include two brothers, John J. Roznovsky and Joe Roznovsky, both of West; two sisters, Stella Roznovsky and Ann Steffersen, both of Fort Worth. Pallbearers were Joseph Lenart, Daniel Roznovsky, Edmund Roznovsky, Johnnie Roznovsky, Albin Roznovsky and Albert Pibil. Kotch Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
