Mrs. Popp, 78, Dies; Funeral Held Monday Mrs. Frances Kapavik Popp of West died in a Waco hospital at 11:30 a.m. Saturday. She was 78. Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Church of Assumption in West, Father Frank Miller officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Aderhold-Moore Chapel in West. Mrs. Popp was born in Frystak, Czechoslovakia. She came to the United States when she was 16 years old to work for her uncle, Father Sebik, a priest at West. She had lived at West since that time and was a member of the Altar Society. Survivors include her husband, Frank Popp; four sons, Frank L. Popp, Joe E. Popp and Henry H. Popp, all of West, and Willie A. Popp of Houston; one daughter, Mrs. Willie Mae Walling of Waco; three sisters, Mrs. John Popp, Mrs. Emil Gerik and Mrs. Frank Lenart, all of West; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
