Bio
Frank L. Popp, age 88, of Rt. 2, West, passed away October 13, 1994 in a Waco nursing home. Rosary was recited at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial was in St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours with Rev. Isidore Rozycki as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Mr. Popp was born March 9, 1906 in West and had lived in the West area all of his life. He was retired farmer and a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours and the K.J.T. Society #31. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosie Popp, who died December 19, 1969 and one daughter, Josephine Wachsmann who died March 9, 1993. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Andrew (Georgia) Wachsmann of Bellmead and Mrs. Aubrey (Rose Marie) Uptmor of Elm Mott; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Active pallbearers were Darrell Uptmor, Calvin Popp, Barret Ivy, Doug Uptmor, Chris Ivy and Ernie Chudej. Kotch Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
