W.J. Marek Services Held William J. Marek, 16, of West died Thursday morning. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Kotch Funeral home Chapel in West. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary's Catholic Church in West with Rev. William Benish officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mr. Marek was born in Hill County and had lived in Hill and McLennan counties all his life. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church; KJT Society No. 31 of West, and SPJST Lodge No. 6 Cottonwood. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward J. Marek of West; three brothers, Larry Marek, Joseph Marek and Johnny Marek, all of West; three sisters, Mrs. Clint (Mary Ann) Stone of Bellmead, Mrs. Richard (Margaret) Schroeder and Mrs. Theresa Marek, both of West; and a grandmother, Mrs. Joe R.
