NOTE: He is buried next to Theresa Marie "Tracy" Rejcek, ID #44520256 Fred C. Klimitchek, age 66, of West, passed away late Sunday night, October 31, 1993 at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center in Waco. A rosary was recited 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Ed Karasek. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption with Rev. Ed Karasek and Rev. Isidore Rozycki as co-celebrants. Military Graveside Rites followed at St. Mary's Cemetery near West. Mr. Klimitchek was born March 6, 1927 in West, the son of Paul and Millie Klimitcheck. He lived in the West area all his life. He was a 1945 graduate of West High School and received a business degree from Baylor University. He was a farmer. He was a member of the R.V.O.S. Lodge and a lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. Mr. Klimitchek served his country with the United States Army during World War II. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4819, the American Legion Post No. 478, and was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans. He is survived by two sisters, Stasie Cihlar of West and Willie Mae Podsednik of Elm Mott; two nephews, Larry Podsednik of West and Billy Podsednik of Burke, Virginia; two nieces, Marie Dulak of West Columbia and Cindy Podsednik of Dallas; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Pallbearers were Danny Pratka, David Girard, Victor Dreitner, Jr., Larry Podsednik, Chris Dulak, Charlie Klimitchek, Ernest Bezdek and Raymond Klish.
