Bio

Louis Cepak, Sr., 74, of 702 East Spruce was found dead of apparent natural causes, at his home Monday afternoon, August 27. 1979. Services were held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the St. Mary's Catholic Church in West, the Rev. Gene Shepard officiating. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mr. Cepak was born in Tours and lived in the West community most of his life. He was a retired farmer, a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church and the KJT Society. He married Christine Bezdek in 1932. She preceded him in death in 1974. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Pavelka of Abbott and Mrs. Rose Marie Hlavenka of Spring; two sons, Louis Cepak, Jr. of Abbott and Marvin Cepak of Waxahachie; a sister, Mrs. Annie Zahirniak of West; a brother, R.C. Cepak of Ennis; 13 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Kotch Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
