Funeral Services Held Tuesday For Mrs. Emil Bazant Mrs. Vincentia Bazant, 87, of West died in her home Sunday morning. Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of the Assumption at West, Rev. James Quilter officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery here. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Bazant was born in Czechoslovakia. She had lived in West the past 54 years. She was a member of the Altar Society and the SPJST Lodge. She was a Catholic. Her husband, Emil Bazant, was editor of the Czechoslovak newspaper here until his death in 1955. Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Bertha Klish of West, Mrs. Mary Grones of Dallas, Mrs. Rose Rejcek of Hillsboro, and Mrs. Ann Elliott of Dallas; one son, Rudolph Bazant of West; 13 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Pallbearers were William E. Hromadka of West, Robert F. Smajstrla of Fort Worth, Joe Holy, Jr., of Waco, Raymond L. Klish of West, Albin L. Macik of West, and Danny Urbanovsky of West.
