Mrs. Annie K. Barton Karlik, age 80, of 106 E. Virginia St. in West passed away Friday, November 22, 1984 at West Community Hospital. Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 25, 1984 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. B.J. Zientek officiating. Burial followed at St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Saturday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel by Msgr. George Doskocil. Mrs. Karlik was born March 23, 1904 in McLennan County. She was a housewife and owned and operated Annie's Bakery for several years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Altar Society, the Catholic Daughters and K.J.Z.T. #31 of West. She is survived by two sons, Eddie H. Barton of Abilene and Gus F. Barton of Arlington; two stepsons, C.L. Karlik, Sr. of Kermit and Wilford W. Karlik of Ft. Worth; one brother Frank Kapavik of West; one sister, Lillian (Blondie) Pendleton of West; 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Al Marchak, Gerald Barak, Joe Soukup, Ernest Kapavik, Wesley Sulak and Louis Karlik.
