Bio

Mrs. Ferdinand (Annie) Fickey, 87, of Leroy died Friday, April 25, 1980 in West Community Hospital. Mass of Christian burial was held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 28, at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours, the Rev. Gene Shepard as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Martin's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 7:30 Sunday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Mrs. Fickey was born in String Prairie and lived in the Leroy-Tours area most of her life. Her husband died in November 1976. She was member of St. Martin's Catholic Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ernest (Annie) Matustik of Waco; two sons, Fred Fickey of Duncanville and Anton Fickey of Hubert, N.C.; a brother, Conrad Grellhesl of West; eight grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
