Josie Elaine Parks Tarin Josie Elaine Parks Tarin was born Oct. 9, 1921, in Waxahachie to Walter and Hattie Lou Parks and passed away in Red Oak, Texas, on June 22, 2009. Elaine was a member of the Church of Christ of Midlothian, Texas. She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Hill of Midlothian; her sons, John W. Tarin and wife Marina of Vladivostok, Russia, Randell Tarin and wife Marilyn of Athens, Texas, and Russell Tarin and wife Rita of Tallahassee, Fla.; grandchildren, Denise Brown and husband Jason of Flower Mound, Texas, Lt. J.G. Marcus E. Hill and wife Amy of St. Mary's, Georgia, Randell Rexroat and wife Brooke, Lori Nelson and husband Josh, Justin Tarin, Jason Tarin and Jonathan Tarin and his wife Cindy; great-grandchildren, Marisol Elaine and Evelyn Grace Hill, and Marshall and Cassie Belle Rexroat; sisters, Barbara Ralston of Red Oak, Virginia Weaver of Midlothian, Thelma Brandon of Waxahachie and Martha Ivey of Ferris; aunt, Ruth Hayes of Waxahachie; and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Friday, June 26, 2009, at Midlothian Funeral Home and graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2009, at Oak Branch Cemetery in Maypearl, Texas.
