Bio
Emily Bessler, 91, of Falls City, NE, died February 3, 2006 at Falls City. She was born August 13, 1914 at Rulo, NE to the late Dallas and Elizabeth (Bean) Jones. In 1972 she married Robert Bessler at Papillion, NE. Emily was raised at Omaha and the surrounding areas in southeast Nebraska. She worked as a dispatcher for Checker Cab Company at Omaha. She retired in 1976. She and Mr. Bessler moved to Falls City on March 15, 1993 and she has lived here since. Emily is survived by her husband, Robert of Falls City, daughter, Connie Dungan and her husband, Wally of Milton, KY, sisters, Vesta Spears and Lucile Criger and her husband Bill both of Lincoln, fifteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, four sisters, sons, James and Jack Kinghorn. Funeral services will be held February 8, 2006 10:30 AM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Reverend Wally Dungan officiating. Interment will be in Rulo Cemetery. (dorrandclark.com/obituary)
