Bio

William "Bill" Patrick, was Welcomed into The Heavenly Home by his wife Twila "Eileen" and all the other Family members who have passed before on October 4, 2009, at the Village Terrace at Good Samaritan Village in Hastings, Nebraska. Bill was born February 7, 1920, in Ericson, Nebraska to Fay and Cleo (Van Horn) Patrick. Bill graduated from Ericson, Nebraska High School and then continued to farm with his father until 1944. On February 17, 1944, William was united in marriage to Twila "Eileen" Jackson at North Loup, Nebraska. The couple lived on a farm east of Ericson, Nebraska. Bill spent most of his life living and farming in Wheeler County, where he also worked at the Ericson Sale Barn for over 50 years. In 1997, the couple moved to Ord, Nebraska and then in 1999, they moved to Hastings, Nebraska. Eileen passed away March 1, 2005, and Bill continued to make his home in Hastings. Bill enjoyed baseball and played on several town leagues. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and also enjoyed his horses. Survivors of the immediate family include a daughter, Elaine Wiese of Hastings, Nebraska; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gayle and Doris Patrick of Ericson, Nebraska and Douglas and JaNell Patrick of Hastings, Nebraska; two brothers, Bud Patrick of North Carolina and George Patrick of Denver, Colorado; and a sister Beth Hill of Ord, Nebraska. He was preceded in death by wife Twila "Eileen", his parents; a grandson, Michael Warner; three sisters, Louise Timmerman, Gladys Hackett and Gertrude Vogeler; and three brothers, Don, Paul and Gene Patrick.
