Married Jun 14 1952 Ord, Valley, NE, Iris R Toni Sitz ---------------------------------------- Paul Patrick Services September 29th Paul Patrick was born October 30, 1934 on his parents farm four miles west of Ericson, Nebraska to Fay and Cleo VanHorn Patrick and died September 25, 1989 at the Mary Lanning Hospital in Hastings, Nebraska at the age of 54. He was raised in the Ericson area and graduated from Ericson High School in 1952. He married Iris Sitz on June 14, 1952 at Ord. They farmed and ranched in the Ericson area. He also worked at the Ericson Sale Barn for 18 years and had been part owner of the sale barn, selling his interest in 1984. The Patricks had been honored by Ak-Sar-Ben for keeping the farm in the family for 100 years. Paul was a member of the Ericson United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife Iris of Ericson; a son Scott of Ericson; three grandchildren; four sisters. Gladys Hackett of Elwood, Louise Timmerman of Ord, Gertrude Vogeler of North Loup, and Beth Hill of Norfolk; five brothers, Don of Scotia, Bill of Ericson, George of Arvada, CO, Gene of Casper, WY and Kenneth (Bud) of Asheboro, NC; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two infant sons. Funeral services were held Friday, September 29, 1989 at the Ericson United Methodist Church with Rev. Richard Brian officiating. Burial was in the Ord City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Ericson United Methodist Church. Ord Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements. The Ord Quiz - Thur, Oct 5 1989, Pg 8, Col 1
