Husband of Lounez P Harden. Retyped from the Times Post, Houston, Mississippi dated September 1 1983 Johnny Lee Harden, age 70, of West Point, died Saturday, August 20 at Ivy Memorial Hospital in West Point. Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 23 at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in West Point with Rev. Nelson Crozier officiating. The son of the late John William Harden and the late Mattie Cornelia Rampy, he had lived in West Point for 45 years. He was retired from Pennebaker Construction after 22 years of services and was a member of West End Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lounez Pumphrey Harden of West Point; two sons, Larry Harden of Simi Valley, California and Travis Harden of West Point; one brother, Walter L Harden of West Point; three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Lancaster of West Point, Mrs. Lena McQuary of Houston and Mrs. Alma Weaver of Calhoun City and five grandchildren. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point was in charge of arrangements.
