------------------------- Printed in the Houston Times Post dated May 15 1991 Walter Leslie Harden, age 95, died Tuesday, May 7 1991 at his home in West Point. Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 8 at Houston Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery with the Rev. Walter Fredrick officiating. The son of the late John William Harden and the late Mattie Cornelia Rampy, he was born in Water Valley. He was a former resident of Houston and had resided in West Point for 19 years. He was a member of Pleasant Ridge Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sybil Houser Harden of West Point, to who he had been married for 68 years; one son, Evans Harden of West Point; one sister, Mrs. Lena McQuary of Houston; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Mark Glasson, Michael Harden, Tommy Duncan, David Wray, John Wesley Harden and Joe White. Houston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. -------------------------
