------------------------- Printed in the Times Post dated November 29 1973 W J Harden Dies in Baton Rouge William Jacob Harden, 74, of Baton Rouge, La, died Nov 18 1973 at 4:45 am in the Baton Rouge General Hospital. Funeral services were held at 10:30 am Tuesday Nov 20 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Chickasaw Count with interment in the church cemetery. The Rev. Frank Childress officiated. Houston Funeral Home was in charge. Pallbearers were Billy Harden, Wayne Kimble, Estes Honeycutt, John Woodruff, Paul Kimble, and Rowland Lyon. Mr. Hardin was a retired mechanic. He was born in Chickasaw County Nov 6 1899, the son of John William Harden and Mattie Rampy Harden. He was a Baptist. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lilliam Austin Harden of Baton Rouge, two brothers, Walter Harden and Johnnie Harden, both of West Point; five sisters, Mrs. Josie Wilson of Starkville, Mrs. Elizabeth Blue, West Point, Mrs. Pearl Lancaster of Pheba, Mrs. Lena McQuary and Mrs. Alma Weaver, both of Houston. -------------------------
