Printed in the Times Post, Houston, Mississippi dated April 30, 1986 Mrs. Bearlie Pearl Harden Lancaster, age 82, of Pheba, died Saturday, April 26 at Clay County Medical Center in West Point. Funeral services were held Sunday, April 27 at Houston Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery with the Rev. Frank Childress officiating. The daughter of the late John William Harden and the late Mattie Canellia Rampey, she was born in Chickasaw County. She was a housewife and a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Allie Lancaster of Pheba; one daughter, Mrs. Barbara Walters of Memphis; two sons, Sam Lancaster of Pheba and Marlin Lancaster of Houlka; one sister, Mrs. Lena McQuary of Houston; one brother, Walter Harden of West Point; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Pallbearers were Eddie Strickland, Darrell Neal, Oliver Nelson, Joe Lancaster, Joe White and George Smith. Houston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
