DIED At the Gothenburg hotel last Tuesday at eight o'clock, aged 40 years of typhoid fever. Mr. C. M. Pohl He was sick for about three weeks previous to his death and two weeks before calling a physician. Mr. Pohl was a hearty robust man and a great worker. He joined the Modern Woodman camp, No. 2008, of Brady Island, May 7th, and took out $2,000 life insurance. He lives ten miles northwest of this city and was so sick when he came to town for treatment that he was taken to the Gothenburg Hotel and was looked after by the members of the Brady Island wad Gothenburg camps. The remains were interred in the cemetery near his home last Thursday. The pall bearers consisted of Philip Hespen, counsel for the Brady lodge and six of its members, J. F. Sullivan, Cash Parsons, P. J. Waterbury, Wm. McIntire, Samuel and Andy Clapp, while the last funeral rites were conducted by Rev. Madely pastor of the M. B. church of this city.
