Bio

LaNelle Duncan Krammer, age 76, of West, passed away early Thursday morning, December 20, 2007 at West Rest Haven. LaNelle did not wish to be remembered at a memorial service, but wanted her family and friends to think of her as she lived, full of fun and loving everyone around her. Cremation will be followed by a private burial. Born on May 20, 1931, Ramona LaNelle Duncan was one of six children born to Louise and Taylor Duncan of West. She attended St. Mary's School in West and graduated from West High School. After graduation, LaNelle attended Four C Business College in Waco. Many will remember her years with Kacir and Kazanas Law Firm in West, where she worked until her marriage to Steve Krammer in May, 1966, which took her to the Houston area. Relocating to Lake Whitney in 1970, LaNelle assisted her husband in managing their construction business. She again lived in West from 1981 to the present, most recently a resident at West Rest Haven. She was preceded in death by her mother, Louise Duncan; two brothers, David and Daniel Duncan; and a sister, Alma Jean Duff. Survivors include two sisters, Audrey Donahew of Waco and Lou Sullins of Clifton; nieces, Lynda Duff Svacek, Denise Donahew English and Cynthia Duff Crisler; great nieces, Brandy Ernst and Kristin Porter; great nephew, Nicholas Svacek, and great great niece Lilly Porter. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the West Rest Haven Memorial Fund, where LaNelle received loving care for the past five years. Waco Tribune Herald, Friday, December 21, 2007...
