Michael J. Cockrell COMANCHE — Services for Michael J. Cockrell, 50, of Comanche, who died April, 13, 2002, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Prairie Hill Church of Christ with the Rev. Mario Pineda officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Carter-Smart Funeral Home. Mr. Cockrell was born July 22, 1951, to J.B. and Nora (Shawn) Cockrell. He was a member of the Prairie Hill Church of Christ and worked for the City of Duncan at the water plant. Survivors include his mother of Comanche; two brothers, Jerry Cockrell of Purcell and Larry Cockrell of Dothan, Ala.; and a sister, Jean Williams of Newcastle. He was preceded in death by a brother, Dean Cockrell, in 1997. Bearers will be Bruce Eversole, Jerry Wayne Cockrell, Ronald Vowell, Delbert Reed, Caleb Reed, Rodney Haviland, James Haviland and Carlos Sheppard.
