Bio

On April 3, 2019, Shelba Jean Cockrell Williams closed her eyes to the struggles of this mortal life and opened her spiritual eyes to the place that Christ prepared for her (John 14:2). Shelba Jean walked faithfully with Christ through this world after being baptized into Him in her early teens (Gal. 3:27). She graduated from Empire High School in Empire, OK. Shelba Jean was the daughter of James Benson and Nora Elizabeth Cockrell and is survived by her brother Larry Cockrell of Dothan, Alabama. Her husband of 58 years, Lyndel Williams, and daughters Rhonda Shawn and Shanon Pink will lay her to rest at Duncan Cemetery on April 5 at 1:00 PM under the care of Don Grantham Funeral Home.
