Bio

West - Mrs. Louise A. Cox, 69, of West, died Saturday morning in a local hospital. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. George Doskocil officiating. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, the Rev. Doskocil as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Cox was born Oct. 6, 1909, in Wichita Falls, married Ben Cox in 1926 and was a longime employee of the West cotton mill and Burlington Industries. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Earlene Boyles of Cave Junction, Ore., Mrs. Norma Hightower and Mrs. Janice Gillespie, both of Lacy-Lakeview, and Mrs. Anna Ruff of Modesto, Calif.; three brothers, Fred Detterman of Navarro Mills, Bill Detterman of West and Herbert Detterman of Robinson; seven sisters, Mrs. Josie Berger of Waco, Mrs. Leona Maler, Mrs. Edith Jares and Mrs. Estelle Goates, all of West, Mrs. Frances Schutza of Dallas, Mrs. Della Bartosh of Mesquite and Mrs. Mildred Perkins of Houston; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
