Bio

Died Ferdinand Ostdiek, aged 64 years, 8 months and 27 days, at his home in St. Stephens at 4 p.m., Oct. 17, 1906, of cancer of the stomach. Deceased, since last May had suffered greatly from his ailment and death came to him as a great relief. He was one of the old residents of his neighborhood and was regarded as an honorable man, a good neighbor and citizen and the sorrow of his death is shared with the family by a wide acquaintance throughout this section. Deceased leaves a wife and family quite well provided for. Funeral services were held at the St. Stephens Catholic church at which place the burial was also made.
